FF games of this time pushed consoles to its limits. No other games came close to looking this good. Even if you know FF well and your expectations are high, expectations are met and exceeded when you boot up day one. Good times. FF X is like an old girlfriend your still friends with, she was amazing back in the day, and shes still looking pretty good today.

I think the overwatch universe is pretty cool, I would like to see them make different style of games set in the same universe, like overwatch 2d streetfighter, overwatch top down diablo, overwatch side scrolling beat em up. Each time you buy one it adds it together like masterchief collection.
Im glad, I hope it sparks a trend for developers to make more of these style of games, I think it will help kids today become amazing developers themselves in the future. imagine it, ive been making games since I was 3 years old.

I wouldnt say im bitter, I just dont enjoy the episodic formula, I didnt like it in hitman. And getting a full game dayone sounds like good value. I've also played FFVII since launch day, its one of those games that I have a passion for.
Id rather have the whole game day one.
I think square Enix shouldn't produce games in an episodic formula. But they dont think of it like that, they probably call it. go fund me mechanics.
I dont think its overkill, unless your casual. my ready to install list is huge, I have 4tb and still regularly have to uninstall stuff.
